Birthday Boxes, Taquitos and Say what you feel

We had an awesome week here! We had 9 investigators in church again, we placed a baptismal date with 3 people and we got an awesome reference from one of the families in our ward. We are gonna do a Family Night tomorrow with the family that gave us the reference.

Antonin and his son Nathan both have baptismal dates for the 24th! Nathan loves church! We went to Nathan’s B-day this week for a quick second and met all their extended family. We made a dope present for him too! He loved it! I’ll send some pics.

Birthday present for one of our investigators

We also met someone named Elizabeth who has a tattoo of Santo Muerte on her back (they worship saints here and there like the grim reaper named Santo Muerte) and she accepted an invitation to be baptized during our the first meeting together. But I think she lives in a different area, but we teach her in a member’s house so it worked out.

Ayyy, Karina is gonna get married within this month, and right after we’re gonna baptize her!!!!!

Also I’m not being trained anymore!

I love this work and one experience that i learned from this week is never be afraid to just invite someone to baptism, it doesn’t matter what they say, they’re gonna feel the spirit.

We made taquitos with some chicken and tortillas we bought and papa fritas (French fries). They were so good! We bought 2 pineapples for 1 dollar and they were amazing!

Food we made, yeet.

I love this scripture in Alma 29:

“O that I were an angel, and could have the wish of mine heart, that I might go forth and speak with the trump of God, with a voice to shake the earth, and cry repentance unto every people! Yea, I would declare unto every soul, as with the voice of thunder, repentance and the plan of redemption, that they should repent and come unto our God, that there might not be more sorrow upon all the face of the earth.”

It is literally what I feel soooooooo much each day. I feel so much love for these people and for the Savior’s gospel that I have to echo Alma again:

“Behold, I say unto you, I cannot say the smallest part which I feel.”

I really cant explain how much joy I have right now, and it is all thanks to what God and Christ have done for me and what they continue to do for me each day. I recognize their hands in my life and I could not be more grateful.

I love you guys keep being chill,
